IoT Engineer
IoT (Internet of Things) expertise in bringing new IoT devices to market. Most recently he developed a “DAC” or Digital Audio Converter that plugs into a commodity piece of hardware known as a Raspberry PI. The DAC is a sound converter that takes multiple input types from legacy phone systems allowing high-quality streaming audio to be pushed to those legacy phone systems essentially adding functionality for streaming on-hold messaging to a phone system that doesn’t have that feature built into it. The “player” (a combination of the pi + DAC) can be managed remotely and also updated remotely so it is always up to date with respect to patches and security features. The solution is cost-effective, scalable, manageable, easily deployable, and cutting edge in both thinking and engineering.
